The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) is pleased to invite schools and non-governmental organizations to enroll in guided tours to the ‘2009 Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\ Architecture ( 09年香港•深圳城市\建築雙城雙年展 )’ (the Biennale).
Tours of the Biennale can enhance youths’ knowledge about the WKCD project, increase their understanding and appreciation of the development of arts and architectural issues and practices, and stimulate creative thinking. Each participant will receive a certificate in recognition of their participation in this programme.
Period:
January 31st, 2010 to February 27th, 2010 (excluding all Mondays, and the period between February 11th and 16th, 2010)
Target participants:
Students at Form 2 to Form 4. Those at other levels are also welcome.
Weekday tour schedule:
Tour (a) 15:00 to 16:30
Tour (b) 16:30 to 18:00
Weekend tour schedule:
Tour (c) 11:00 to 12:30
Tour (d) 14:00 to 15:30
Tour (e) 16:00 to 17:30
Transportation:
The WKCDA will provide coach service if over 30 students/members from the same school/organization are enrolled in the same tour.
Due to limited capacity, pre-registration is required. Places are reserved on a first-come-first-served basis.
