BYOB – pop up openings will occur throughout the site [Biennale Park and Waterfront promenade]. Meet the creative minds behind the biennale, exhibitors, architects, curators, designers, collaborators, who will share and discuss their work, have a drink, pick up a coffee on the waterfront or BYOBui [杯].
BYOB雙年展各個展覽單位於[雙年展公園]及[海濱長廊]將有小型開幕聚會。我們的參展者(包括建築師、設計師、評論家、策展人及各合作夥伴等等)均期待於你暢談各展品背後的創意理念。衷心邀請閣下自備你的[杯],我們會送上咖啡,共聚於海濱長廊!

E7 : BOUNDARIES
– invites you to participate and tell us where you are from by Neighborhooding.net : Gene Miao and Frederick Wong. These designers mark and survey participants that enter into the biennale park. As the exhibition progresses the exhibit take on the imprints of the visitors who have participated in its creation. Their work counts on the publics’ participation to create diverse, lively communities.

E49 : BYOBench: Hole in the Wall
- A Slice of Public Space by Jody Marie Bielun and Pablo Leppe has invited “Start From Zero” founded by a Hong Kong local street artist – Dom. START stands for STreet ART, STencil ART and STicker ART. In Hong Kong and Shenzhen, where space is at a premium, where do we find a place for public space? “Hole in the Wall” cuts a ribbon of space into a vertical wall and asks street artist to paint and create BYOB on the blank white billboard space as a performative act- this project will evolve over the three months. Dom has created a piece, and another artist this Saturday named Big Mad will create the letters BYOB.

- Douglas will host event- where a butler will serves scones and tea at the roof of the installation.
5:30pm – 7:30pm
M1 : B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Beat)
- Gold Mountain featuring DJ Anand. Music Video commissioned for the 2009 Hong Kong and Shenzhen Biennale B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Beat) – Director: Michele Orlando, Siren Films Ltd. The video will be projected in the Shigeru Ban pavilion shelter.
6:00pm onwards

-POP UP – BYOB EVENT PARTY on the waterfront zone…..where BLACK TEES [O80] and OpenEnded Group’s PEDESTRIAN [C26] will be unveiled.
